“Morality of a street cat”

President Joe Biden attacked Donald Trump over allegations of sexual abuse and his affair with Stormy Daniels, saying at the presidential debate on Thursday night that the former president has “the morals of a stray cat.”

Biden’s comments came after Trump attacked his son, Hunter Biden, who was recently found guilty of a federal weapons offense.

“The crimes you’re still charged with – think of all the civil penalties you have,” Biden said. “How many millions of dollars do you owe in civil penalties for harassing a woman in public? For a whole range of things? For having sex with a porn star … while the woman was pregnant?”

Biden went on to say that Trump has the “morals of a street cat.”

Biden’s remarks about Trump’s “harassment of a woman” come after a jury found Trump guilty of sexually assaulting writer E. Jean Carroll and awarded her $5 million. Earlier this year, a jury also found that Trump had defamed Carroll and awarded her an additional $83.3 million.

Trump’s hush money trial also revolved around an alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels in 2006. In May, a jury in Manhattan found Trump guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records. The reason for this was that she paid hush money to Daniels before the 2016 election to prevent her from going public with allegations of an affair.

His sentence is scheduled to be announced on July 11, just days before the Republican National Convention, where he will be named the official Republican presidential candidate.

Trump now also owes money in his New York civil fraud case. Judge Arthur Engoron ruled in February that Trump, his company and its key executives routinely misled bankers and insurers. As a result, Trump and his cronies were fined $355 million plus more than $110 million in interest and banned from doing business in New York for three years.

“I never had sex with a porn star,” Trump responded to Biden’s attack, calling Biden’s hush money scandal manipulated and politically motivated.

At the beginning of the debate, Trump mentioned Hunter’s infamous laptop, which was left at a computer repair shop in Delaware. It didn’t take long for data on the laptop – including alleged emails, text messages and explicit photos – to become public knowledge. Since then, Hunter’s laptop has been used as fuel for right-wing opponents.

Trump was also not afraid to attack Biden. The president’s performance throughout the debate was marred by his raspy, soft voice and confused thoughts.

When Biden defended his executive actions to curb immigration, Trump said, “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence – and I don’t think he knows what he said either.”
