Two teenagers arrested in armed robberies near Woods Park in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Nebraska (KLKN) – Two teenagers were arrested this week in connection with two armed robberies near Woods Park.

A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody on Monday and charged with three counts of robbery.

A 15-year-old boy is accused of aiding and abetting a robbery.

On May 13 at around 8:50 p.m., they robbed a man at gunpoint near 35th and Randolph streets, police said, stealing $161.

Ten minutes later, they ambushed two people walking near the corner of 32nd and J Streets and stole a phone.
