Dodge County Sheriff’s Office investigates after man found dead in his car

CHESTER, Wis. (WBAY) – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was found dead in a car in a ditch on U.S. Highway 151.

Shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a car in a ditch on U.S. Highway 151 south of State Highway 49 in Chester Township.

When they arrived, they found a single person in the car, a 91-year-old man from Waupun. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both the crash and the death are still under investigation.

Waupun Police and Fire Departments, Lifestar EMS, the Dodge County Coroner and a sheriff’s chaplain assisted on scene and with the investigation.
