Prince George’s County police investigate double shooting; 1 dead, 1 injured

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Maryland (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) investigated a double shooting that left someone dead Thursday.

The shooting occurred around 6:40 p.m. in the 4700 block of Towne Park Road.

There, officers found a male victim outside who had been shot. He died there.

Another male victim who had been shot was also found there. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The PGPD was still searching for those involved and a motive for the shooting.
