Bolivia: 17 people arrested for links to failed coup

The Bolivian government announced on Thursday that 17 people, including active and retired military personnel and civilians, had been arrested in connection with a failed coup against President Luis Arce.

“A total of 17 people were arrested for attempting to carry out a coup on national territory,” Interior Minister Eduardo del Castillo said at a press conference.
