Cuban woman asks for help in repatriating her husband’s remains after tragic accident in the USA

The young Cuban mother Gretel Montalvan Ramos asks for help in transporting her husband’s remains, Yordani Viamontes Tamayowho died in a tragic car accident in the USA on June 18th.

On social media platforms FacebookThe woman from Camagüey described the terrible situation she is in after the death of her partner. She is alone with her one-year-old child and now needs money to make ends meet and to transport the body of the deceased to Cuba, where his family is waiting for her.

“The funds will be used to repatriate my husband’s body and to cover household expenses for me and my child during this difficult time. Everyone knows how hard it is when only one person is involved,” added the young woman, who looks after children at home.

She also mentioned, “My one-year-old child and I are grateful to everyone who has supported us in one way or another during this very difficult moment.”

In the meantime Nelly D’Cuba also shared the story, revealing that Viamontes was found dead under his truck. She urged others to support Gretell, saying, “If God puts it in your heart to help her, even if it’s just with $5, together we can help her make this happen.”
