Ambulance involved in accident on I-74 Thursday morning: State Police

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) – State police responded to an accident on eastbound I-74 involving an ambulance in Champaign County Thursday morning.

The accident occurred shortly after 8 a.m. near Mile 185 in Urbana. According to police, two vehicles were involved in the accident, one of which was an ambulance.

The police do not yet know whether there were any injuries or whether the road was closed as a result of the accident. According to the police, no further information is available yet.
