Motorcyclist loses control of his motorcycle in accident in Milford and dies

A motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Milford over the weekend.

The accident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday on Anderson Avenue, where officers responded to a report of a serious car crash with life-threatening injuries, according to Milford police.

When traffic police arrived on scene, they found a 25-year-old man who had been involved in an accident. He was treated at the scene and taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

According to police, investigators believe the man was traveling north on Anderson Avenue on a motorcycle when he lost control of the motorcycle in the Chaucer Court area, resulting in a collision.

The police have not yet identified the victim and are still investigating.
