Partial fire paralyzes traffic on I-69 towards Van Buren

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A partial fire has blocked traffic on I-69 southbound to Van Buren, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) said.

According to INDOT TrafficWise, all lanes of I-69 heading toward Van Buren, just south of exit 273, are closed after a semi-truck caught fire. As of 8:15 a.m., INDOT said the lanes are expected to be closed for the next hour and a half.

No injuries are currently known.
