55-year-old woman killed in traffic accident in Douglas County

Squires, Missouri – An Ava resident was recently pronounced dead after a car rollover accident occurred yesterday morning.

This report comes from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, which gives the time of the accident as 7:28 a.m. The fatality was identified as Linda Walker, 55, of Ava, who was not wearing her safety device while driving a Ford F250 on Highway N near Squires.

Walker is said to have veered off the left side of the road and rolled over. She was pronounced dead at 8:14 a.m.
