OKLAHOMA CITY –

According to police, one person died in a car accident in southwest Oklahoma City on Thursday morning.

Oklahoma City police said the victim was hit around 4:30 a.m. on South Western Avenue near Southwest 44th Street.

The OCPD said a passerby saw the victim lying on the ground near a bus stop and called police.

Officers on scene said it was likely a hit-and-run as there was no vehicle on the scene when they arrived.
