Police investigations block roads in northwest Atlanta

ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – A major police investigation is underway in northwest Atlanta Thursday morning.

Police cordoned off two blocks of Elm Street between Jett and Cameron Streets. The investigation focused on the corner of Elm and Jett Streets.

According to police, the call came in to 911 shortly after 2 a.m. One person was injured in a shooting on Jett Street. However, police have not yet confirmed what they are investigating.

An Atlanta News First crew on the scene reported that they observed two crime scene investigations and a large number of police and detectives in the area.
