1 dead and 1 injured after shooting in Summerdale, Philadelphia, police say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One man was killed and another injured in a shooting in Northeast Philadelphia Wednesday night, police said.

Police responded to the area of ​​Foulkrod and Langdon streets in Summerdale at around 5:41 p.m. and reported that a man suffered multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body and a 67-year-old man was shot once in the left arm.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead shortly after 6 p.m. The 67-year-old is in stable condition, police said.

Both were taken to Albert Einstein Hospital by paramedics.

No arrests were made and no weapons were seized. The Homicide Squad is leading the ongoing investigation.
