CHP seeks driver after sedan overturns on Highway 10

Two separate incidents occurred in the Castle Heights neighborhood: a death and a serious car accident.

The death was discovered at the corner of National Boulevard and Castle Heights. At approximately 11:41 a.m., an unconscious woman was discovered next to a car parked at the curb by Los Angeles Police, and the Los Angeles Fire Department also responded to the scene. Los Angeles Police will investigate the death but have no further information at this time.

According to a California Highway Patrol spokesperson, a small sedan left the westbound 10 Freeway at the National Boulevard exit and overturned around 2:50 p.m. The CHP was unable to provide many details because the sedan’s occupant left on foot before the CHP arrived. It is unknown if the driver sustained any injuries, if anyone else was in the car at the time of the crash, or how the crash occurred.
