Man accused of sexually abusing children arrested in Bean Station

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (WATE) – A man wanted for child abuse was arrested Wednesday in Bean Station.

On Tuesday, the Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office asked the public for help in locating 35-year-old Dustin Miller. According to the sheriff’s office, he was wanted in Hamblen and Grainger counties for sexual abuse of a child, sexual assault by an authority figure, reckless endangerment and enticement of minors to commit crimes.


Bean Station police said officers received a call shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday that Miller had run from a home on Broadway Drive. With the help of a drone and a sniffer dog unit, he was arrested and taken to the Grainger County Jail.

The Grainger County Sheriff’s Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Bean Station Fire Department assisted in the arrest. Miller will be transported to Hamblen County after the charges against him in Grainger County are resolved.
