After an accident at Milford Lake, one person has to be taken to hospital

According to Geary County Emergency Management, emergency vehicles responded to East Rolling Hills on Milford Lake around noon Wednesday where a man was struck by a boat propeller in the water.

Bystanders on the scene cared for the suspect until emergency personnel arrived. He was flown by Lifestar Air Ambulance to a hospital in Wichita for further treatment.

Responding agencies included Junction City Fire/EMS, Geary County Sheriff, Geary County Emergency Management, Kansas Wildlife and Parks, Corp of Engineers and Lifestar. Kansas Wildlife and Parks is responsible for investigating the incident.
