Houston, Texas news: Man found shot in car crash

HOUSTON — A man was found shot to death in a crashed car in southwest Houston around noon Wednesday, police said.

Details surrounding the incident are limited. Video from Air 11 appears to show the man crashed through a wooden fence and entered a building near a community pool. We don’t yet know what led to the shooting or the accident.

This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.

Our homicide detectives are responding to 12200 Bissonnet Street near Cook Road in southwest Houston.

Preliminary information indicates officers responded to a crash around 11:55 a.m. and found a person fatally shot inside a vehicle.
