Texas Rising to Register Voters at 46th Annual Houston Pride

HOUSTON (KIAH) — This Saturday, June 29, the Texas Rising Houston Chapter will be at the 46th annual Houston Pride Celebration to register voters. All in an effort to help young Texans and diverse communities vote.

Texas Rising is a project created by Texas Freedom Network that focuses on organizing young Texans, Texans, and Texans of color to create change and advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and equality in their community.

The event will take place this Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 901 Bagby Street Houston, TX 77002.

Texans ages 18-30 will have the FREE opportunity with Camp Texas Rising July 26-29 in Austin, Texas to learn about progressive issues organizing, community, electoral politics and development of leadership.
