Teenager killed in boating accident on Lake Gaston

Authorities are investigating a boating accident over the weekend that left a teenager dead.

The incident occurred on Saturday when the boat, driven by 35-year-old Martin Brown, crashed into a dock.

According to authorities, 19-year-old Jackson Fendley has died.

According to authorities, Brown initially left the crime scene.

Another passenger, 20-year-old Addison Sheahan, was also involved in the accident but was uninjured.

Brown was taken to hospital with injuries. He was later released.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation and authorities expect charges to be filed.
