Man urinates on deli sandwiches in Boardman, Ohio: Police

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — Police are investigating after a man reportedly urinated in a box full of deli sandwiches in Boardman Tuesday night.

Police were called to the 1300 block of Doral Drive around 7:30 p.m.


According to reports, a store manager was notified around 5:30 p.m. that an unidentified customer had allegedly urinated in a refrigerated case full of sandwiches that were on sale. Store management confirmed to police that urine was visible on both the sandwiches and the refrigerated case.

The sandwiches were reportedly thrown out and the cooler was cleaned. Police said the man could not be located by management in the store at the time.

At around 5:15 p.m., surveillance footage reportedly showed a man getting up from his electric shopping cart and leaning against the cooler. A customer said the man urinated down his leg, reports said.

There was reportedly no evidence that the man had exposed himself. There was reportedly urine on the floor of the electric shopping cart.

According to the police report, 65 deli sandwiches had to be thrown away, resulting in total financial damage of $511.66.

The suspect is reportedly a white male, 6’1″ tall and 200 pounds. Police reports say he has white hair and is wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat. He was reportedly wearing transitional-style glasses, a peach-colored horizontal striped shirt, black shorts, and tan flip-flop sandals. He was reportedly wearing a band around his neck with a plastic shield attached. He was reportedly carrying a bronze-colored metal cane.

The police have filed a complaint for property damage and disorderly conduct.
