Investigations into the fatal Mashpee accident continue

Counselors are available to the Mashpee school community following an accident Tuesday morning that left a 17-year-old student dead.

The crash that left the teenager dead and five others injured occurred on Carleton Drive near Swain Circle and remains under investigation.

Mashpee Assistant Superintendent Hope Hanscom said more information will be shared as it becomes available, but for now, our prayers are with everyone involved and the entire Mashpee community.
