12th of June

Vehicle theft: Shortly before 5 a.m., a vehicle theft was reported in the 1400 block of Windsor Park Lane.

Possession: At 2:24 a.m., a 40-year-old Philadelphia man was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at the Sunoco in the 1300 block of West Chester Pike.

Theft: 2100 block of Darby Creek Road: At 1:06 p.m., prescription drugs were stolen.

13 June

Fraud: 200 block of Treaty Road. A resident received a call from a person claiming to be from the Lower Merion Police Department. They informed the victim that she had failed her jury duty and would have to pay a $7,500 fee to avoid a warrant for her arrest. The victim realized the scam and ended the call.

Drunkenness in public: At 10:51 a.m., a 38-year-old Philadelphia man was charged with public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at the Vitamin Shoppe in the 100 block of West Township Line Road.

14th June

Theft: 800 block of Homestead Avenue. At 4:07 p.m., a package containing cell phones was stolen after delivery.

Possession of marijuana: At 10:53 p.m., a 21-year-old Linwood man was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, a revoked driver’s license, and no registration or valid insurance in the 1100 block of West Township Line Road.

Driving under the influence of alcohol: At 3:35 p.m., a 56-year-old Philadelphia drunk driving suspect was arrested for operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock and speeding in the 200 block of West Chester Pike.

15th June

Criminal mischief: At 7:20 p.m., a residence in the 1500 block of Dorchester Road was pelted with eggs.

16 June

Improper conduct: At 8:44 p.m., a 42-year-old woman was cited for disorderly conduct at Rita’s Water Ice in the first block of West Eagle Road.

17th of June

Theft: At 5:06 p.m., a victim reported that $250 was stolen from his locker at the YMCA on North Eagle Road.

Medications: At 10:15 p.m., a 27-year-old Upper Darby man was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia with intent to traffic, suspended driver’s license, and operating an unregistered vehicle in the 400 block of Earlington Road.

Shoplifting: At 6:48 p.m., a 33-year-old Lititz man was charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia at Kohl’s on West Chester Pike.

18th of June

Shoplifting: At 1:41 p.m., an unknown woman stole merchandise valued at $428 from Giant on West Township Line Road.
