HOUSTON (KIAH) — A Harris County judge was arrested early Tuesday morning for suspected driving under the influence.

Kelli Johnson was pulled over around 2 a.m. Tuesday after a Houston police officer noticed her making a wrong turn in the middle lane in the 11600 block of Hempstead Road. The officer said she was also speeding 15 mph.

Investigators said the officer found medication in her car. Johnson allegedly admitted to the officer that she was taking the antidepressant duloxetine.

A breathalyzer test was performed and a blood sample was taken. Johnson was released on bail on Tuesday afternoon.

Johnson is the same judge who was suspected of driving under the influence in April but was released after Harris County officials said she passed a sobriety test.

In a video our news partners obtained from that traffic stop, two Harris County Sheriff’s Office officers stopped Johnson on Highway 290 and pulled her over to a parking lot on Spring Cypress Road. The officer said she was speeding and heading the wrong way on Jackrabbit Road.

But after officers conducted a breathalyzer test, Johnson was allowed to drive off with a warning. One of the officers said she “probably drank, but not as much” as she would drink while driving.

Johnson is due to appear in court on July 2.
