A man was shot outside Drake’s mansion around 2 a.m. Tuesday. Police responded to reports of gunshots and found an injured man who was taken to the hospital.

The man was one of Drake’s security guards.

Insp. Paul Krawczyk of the Toronto police Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force said police are looking for several suspects in this shooting. Krawzcyk said it was too early to determine a motive and could provide “no further information” about whether the feud between Drake and Lamar could be behind the shooting.

Asked whether anything would be done to prevent potential suspects from fleeing to the United States – where Lamar, an American, lives – he said the case would be treated like any other investigation.
