Police investigation at the Golden Run Wildlife Area in Clark, Pennsylvania.

CLARK, Pa. (WKBN) – The entrance to a wildlife refuge in Mercer County is currently closed due to a police investigation in the area.

There is a lot going on in Clark, near the Shenango River Reservoir.


Authorities have closed off access to the Golden Run Wildlife Area. WKBN was told the investigation is taking place behind a cordon.

This is right at the intersection of Lake Road and North Neshannock Road. Police have not released many details about the investigation. Officials have only said they cannot comment due to the nature of the investigation. WKBN also spoke with Pennsylvania State Police, who said local authorities are involved in this investigation.
