1 dead and 8 injured in accident in the city of Beaver Dam

TOWN OF BEAVER DAM, Wisconsin — One person was killed and eight others, including young children, were hospitalized after a crash in Dodge County.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m., a minivan collided with an SUV on County Highway S and County Highway G in the city of Beaver Dam.

According to the sheriff, the SUV ignored a stop sign.

A 69-year-old woman who was riding in the SUV was flown to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Three other adults and five children, ages 2 to 13, were hospitalized. They are all expected to recover.
