Kenya Moore leaves ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ after suspension

Kenya Moore is officially out The Real Housewives of Atlanta after 11 seasons of the show.

Kenya later vaguely expressed her decision to quit the show in a tweet: “You are the best fans anyone could ask for. And I love you all so much. Forever and always.” The former Miss USA also added “#TeamTwirlForever,” referring to her fan base. 💜

While TMZ Bravo is reportedly keeping the door open for a future return, but a source familiar with the situation told ET that it has not been discussed.

Another source told ET that it is currently unknown how Kenya’s exit will be addressed on the show, if at all. “It’s still early in filming and they could just cut her out, like Lizzy Savetsky in New York.” Savetsky was a cast member in the rebooted version of The Real Housewives of New York However, she left the show early on in filming. When the show premiered, she was not included in the editing process at all.

Regardless of how her departure is handled, the people say Kenya is not currently interested in talks following her ignominious suspension.

“Kenya was suspended for allegedly showing Brittany in a sexual act at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta. The images were allegedly sourced from the internet,” one person told ET at the time. “The network is still reviewing the content Kenya showed during filming.”

After the news of her suspension became known, Kenya hopped on Instagram Live and said she has “a lot going on” and is doing her best to be a successful entrepreneur and working mother. Kenya has five-year-old daughter Brooklyn with her ex Marc Daly.

“I will never understand how people go out of their way to smear my name or ruin my business,” she said. “Leave me alone. I’m a single mother. I’m just like everyone else here. I don’t get child support, I don’t get anything. I’m the only one taking care of my daughter.”

She asked her fans to “join her on this journey.”

Kenya called out the actors Drew Sidora And Porsha Williams throughout the live performance for her supportive friends as they repeatedly commented on her help.

Porsha wrote in the comments, “We love you!!,” praising Kenya as a “queen.” Meanwhile, Shamea Morton and Angela Oakley revealed they were watching, and Drew praised Kenya’s hair.

The rest of the cast is still filming the 16th season, for which there is no release date yet.

Following the alleged incident, Kenya also defended herself on social media, posting: “I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor have I requested images from others to threaten or blackmail.” She maintained her innocence, adding: “I have always been vindicated.”

Brittany – the housewife on the other side of the drama – made a similar statement about the situation. She also denied internet rumors that she threatened Kenya with a gun. “Just to clarify, I have never owned a gun or ever threatened anyone.”
