Teenager shot in the head during road rage incident in Bedford County

A teenager was shot in Bedford County on Tuesday evening in what appears to be a driving rage incident on Highway 41-A toward Coffee County. The unnamed woman was in critical condition at Nashville Hospital, according to the latest reports. Injured after a driving rage shooting in Bedford County.

The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office reports that three other teenagers were in the woman’s vehicle. The other vehicle, a Saturn SUV from the late 1990s or early 2000s, was driven by a man who shot at the teens through the rear window.

The bullet penetrated the headrest and hit the young woman in the passenger seat.

According to the latest reports, the suspect was still at large.
