Coroner responds to incident at Pinchot State Park

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – The York County Coroner’s Office is on the scene of an incident this evening at Gifford Pinchot State Park in York County.

A press release from the coroner’s office stated that there was a death at the scene of the accident.

The emergency call came in around 5:00 p.m. as a water rescue operation in the Quaker Race Day Use Area.

State police and coroner officials were on site investigating until the evening.
