Houston begins search for new athletic director after parting ways with Pezman

HOUSTON (AP) — The University of Houston has launched a search for a new athletic director after parting ways with Chris Pezman. Pezman was fired last week after leading the school’s athletic department since 2017 and helping Houston advance to the Big 12 Conference last year. Raymond S. Bartlett, Houston’s senior vice president of administration and finance, will serve as interim athletic director until a replacement is found.
