Former Atlanta cheerleading coach arrested for child abuse, police said

ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – A former metro Atlanta cheerleading coach has been arrested on child sex abuse charges, according to Loganville police.

Loganville Police said Charles Moore was arrested on May 27 as part of their investigation into sexual exploitation of a minor and providing obscene material to a minor.

Loganville police said they also conducted a joint investigation with the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office that led to Moore’s second arrest on Tuesday for sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to police, Moore was formerly a cheerleading coach “for several gyms in the Atlanta area,” but she did not disclose which gyms they were.
