TRAFFIC ALERT: Accident at Exit 8 backs up traffic on Interstate 24 in Clarksville

Update, 5.30pm: Traffic heading east is currently backed up to exit 4.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – An accident near Exit 8 has caused a traffic backup on Interstate 24.

At around 5:30 p.m., eastbound traffic was backed up to mile marker 5 due to the accident. Traffic was diverted from the interstate.
