MISSING: 44-year-old Indiana woman disappears while visiting Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 44-year-old Tara Acuff, who disappeared while visiting Clarksville.

Acuff is from Terra Haute, Indiana, and was last seen at around 8:47 a.m. Sunday at the Country Inn and Suites, 3075 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.

According to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien, she was wearing an orange dress and a wide-brimmed hat. Video footage showed her leaving the hotel and getting into a small, dark-colored, two-door pickup truck. Beaubien said everything seemed to indicate Acuff left voluntarily and was not in distress.

If anyone sees Acuff or knows her whereabouts, please call 911 so officers can check on her welfare. Anyone with information or additional video footage is asked to contact Detective Henry at 931-648-0656, extension 5343.
