Buffalo police announce charges in fatal shooting of 3-year-old

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Police and prosecutors plan to announce an indictment Tuesday evening in the fatal shooting of a 3-year-old boy in Buffalo.

Ramone Carter was killed Friday night during a rally on Domedion Avenue.

In a press release, Acting Erie County Prosecutor Mike Keane, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and Buffalo Police Commissioner Joe Gramaglia announced that an indictment will be unsealed against the people responsible for the shooting.

Previously, investigators said they interviewed two people in connection with the shooting and recovered a firearm at the scene.

The press conference is scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
