Napoleonville man arrested for breaking into occupied home – KQKI News

Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon announced the arrest of Amarion MD Keyes, 21, of Labadieville for burglary of an occupied dwelling in Napoleonville.

On June 22, 2024, officers responded to a call on French Lane where the homeowner reported money missing from his home. After reviewing electronic surveillance footage, authorities identified Keyes as the suspect who had trespassed into the home.

An investigation resulted in the issuance of a warrant for Keyes’ arrest. The following day, officers found Keyes on Alvin Street in Napoleonville. When approached, Keyes attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended.

Keyes was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and criminal trespass. He remains in custody awaiting a bond hearing.
