Katy Paetow 2025 DT Carmello Brooks (6’3, 275) committed to Houston against Cal, Boise State, Duke and Texas in a special commitment ceremony at Katy Paetow High School.

Brooks, who is ranked as the No. 10 DT prospect in Texas by TexasFootball.com, is described as the “interior anchor” by Paetow head coach David Hicks Sr.
