Lititz man convicted of sexually abusing a child

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pennsylvania – A Lititz man has been sentenced to up to 50 years in prison for sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl.

Manz was found guilty in a trial in March of aggravated sexual assault of a child, unauthorized contact with a minor, sexual assault of a person under 13, two counts of seduction of a minor and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, he faces a prison sentence of 25 to 50 years as a second-offense sex offender.

On February 6, 2023, the Lancaster County Children’s Alliance interviewed the juvenile victim about a reported sexual assault in Lititz. The assault occurred the previous day between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., according to the district attorney’s office.
