One dead after skid steer loader accident in Cambria County

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) – A man was pronounced dead Tuesday morning after a slingshot accident.

Cambria County emergency crews were called to the scene around 10:00 a.m. A man was operating a skid steer on a road in Washington Township to clear an oil rig.


According to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees, it was reported that he had come too close to the edge of a 100-foot embankment. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
