Houston Texans star CJ Stroud expected to become All-Pro in 2024

The 2023 NFL season has been exciting across the board, and Houston Texans fans have watched their team go from a three-win team to a double-digit playoff team. Rookie quarterback CJ Stroud was electric, becoming a star alongside first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans, proving his worth as the man to steer the ship.

CBS Sports’ Josh Edwards projected the NFL All-Pros at each position – using previous samples and data to make a firm prediction. With this, Stroud has been listed as a potential All-Pro ahead of the new NFL season.

“Fans have been able to see more of Stroud’s personality since the season ended. He is well-rounded as a competitor and student of the game. His rookie season, which ended in the divisional round of the playoffs , was one of the best a player has ever seen in his first season,” Edwards wrote.

Stroud recorded 4,108 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and only five interceptions in year one as an NFL quarterback. He played in 15 games and one playoff game, showing all the superstar potential he holds.

“As he becomes more comfortable with the system, the talent around him, the atmosphere and more, he should be able to take his game to another level. Stroud completed The Ohio State product finished fourth in EPA passing yards for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdowns and five interceptions last season, according to TruMedia,” Edwards continued.

With the Texans building more talent around the star second-year quarterback, he will have that much more potential to fulfill his superstar potential in the upcoming season as the Texans battle real expectations.

Finding himself involved in a Pro Bowl or All-Pro selection won’t be Stroud’s goal as the Texans look to hoist the Lombardi Trophy for the first time in franchise history.
