Akron man arrested in Summit County, Ohio child pornography investigation

SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) – The Summit County Sheriff’s Office announced an arrest Tuesday in a child pornography investigation.

According to a press release, the Criminal Investigation Bureau received a tip this month from the Task Force on Internet Crimes Against Children.

The tip suggested that a person in Summit County was downloading child pornography.

Detectives tracked the residence using an IP address and served a search warrant for a home in Akron.

According to a press release, detectives arrested 23-year-old Kanden Mancino after finding several suspected child pornography images.

Mancino was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Summit County Jail.
