“LITTLE CONNECTION, WE ARE NOT INVINCIBLE”, THE SABERCATS LOSE ON THE ROAD TO SAN DIEGO

HOUSTON (Houston SaberCats) — The overall outlook for the SaberCats after snapping an eight-game winning streak Sunday on the road against the San Diego Legion was pretty simple.

It’s time to start a new winning streak to take them through the end of the regular season and into the playoffs in their continued quest for the Major League Rugby Championship.

The SaberCats, seeded 13-2, already had home-court advantage in the playoffs before Sunday’s loss and will face the fourth-seeded Dallas Jackals in the semifinals on July 20. Before this match, the SaberCats will host the Jackals in a regular match. -season finale Saturday night at home.
