Shots fired near popular Jacksonville restaurant – WLDS

Jacksonville police reported a shooting incident on the city’s east side last night.

A caller reported hearing gunshots last night around 9:15 p.m. in the 700 block of East College Avenue, just down the street from My Buddy’s BBQ & Catering.

The caller reported seeing three vehicles nearby prior to the incident: a red car, a blue car, and a black Ford. No injuries were reported.

A person in the area was later taken to Jacksonville Memorial Hospital for injuries unrelated to the incident.
