Huge FREE Ice Cream Party Coming to Buffalo New York

The hot summer weather is here in Western New York and an ice cream company is attempting to set a new world record here in the “Queen City.”

Moose Tracks Ice Cream is hosting its 10,000 Scoop Challenge in downtown Buffalo on Thursday, July 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The company hopes to serve 10,000 scoops of FREE Hershey’s Moose Tracks ice cream and host the world’s largest free ice cream party.

As part of the event, Moose Tracks will donate $1 to FeedMore WNY for every scoop of ice cream served, hoping to raise $10,000 in just four hours.

According to their website, the 10,000 Scoop Challenge has been a summer tradition since 2010 and since then the company has traveled to over 50 cities across the United States and raised over $500,000 to support vital community programs .

So far this year, the 10,000 Scoop Challenge has visited Tampa City, Florida, and Traverse City, Michigan. Following their spot in Buffalo, the 10,000 Scoop Challenge will close out their summer tour this year in Boston, Massachusetts.

You can participate in the event by stopping by Lafayette Square on Thursday, July 11 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Each scoop of Moose Tracks ice cream distributed will be free.

Moose Tracks Ice Cream is a combination of Moose Tracks fudge and peanut butter cups swirled into vanilla ice cream.
