1 dead, suspects sought after shooting in Fargo Monday night | The Mighty 790 KFGO

Two vehicles were wanted in connection with the fatal shooting in Fargo: a gray Hyundai Santa Fe and an orange Jeep Compass.

FARGO (KFGO) – One person has died from a gunshot wound to the face. Fargo police were called to the 2200 block of 6th Avenue South just after 8 p.m. Monday for a report of a shooting.

The suspects had fled the scene before officers arrived.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased. The victim’s name will not be released until next of kin are notified.

From conversations with witnesses it appears that the officers assume that those involved knew each other.

Fargo Police are asking the public for help in locating two vehicles that sped away from the scene of an accident. One is a gray Hyundai Santa Fe with ND license plate 628 DZR and an orange Jeep Compass with an unknown license plate.
