1 dead and 2 injured in shooting in North Lawndale

One person was killed and two teenagers were injured in a shooting in North Lawndale on Monday afternoon.

Police responded to reports of a person shot in the 5300 block of South Pulaski Road at about 3:56 p.m. and found two teenagers shot, police said. A 16-year-old boy who was shot in the buttocks and abdomen was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition; a 15-year-old boy was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition after being shot in the legs.

Another male victim, whose age is unknown, was taken to Holy Cross Hospital where he later died.

No one is in custody.
