Woman kidnapped, drugged and raped in Neredmet-Telangana today

A woman was kidnapped in the Neredmet area, given a drink laced with ganja and raped.

Hyderabad: A group of persons allegedly raped a girl in Neredmet after abducting her from Kachiguda. The rape survivor, a resident of Kachiguda, met one of her friends who took her along with four others to a place in Neredmet.

The gang offered the girl a drink laced with ganja. When the girl drank it, she became sleepy and was sexually abused by the gang.

The victim returned home and informed her mother about the incident. The woman went to Kachiguda police station.

On a complaint, the police did not register an FIR and handed over the case to Neredmet police station. The police are investigating.
