Rape: Man arrested for raping teenager in Mehrauli | Delhi News

New Delhi: Delhi Police have arrested a man who allegedly raped a teenage girl in south Delhi’s Mehrauli for a year, an official said on Monday. The girl, who is now 18, was a minor at the time of the incident, the official said. The incident was reported to police on June 22 from Safdarjung Hospital, where the girl was admitted by her mother for aborting a four-month pregnant woman. “The girl claimed that she was in a relationship with a man. He had forced her to have sexual intercourse with him from January 2023 to January 2024,” the police officer said. The girl disclosed the name of the accused after being counselled by the Delhi Commission for Women and the investigating officer. PTI
