37-year-old woman dead after accident in Creek County | News

CREEK COUNTY, Oklahoma – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said a 37-year-old woman died Sunday in a one-car crash five miles south of Mannford in Creek County.

The 34-year-old driver was not injured in the accident, but OHP said he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

The 37-year-old woman was not identified by the OHP, but she was the only passenger in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

According to OHP, the passenger was ejected from the vehicle and neither the passenger nor the driver were wearing seat belts.

The passenger was flown to a hospital in Tulsa, where she died the next morning.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
