On June 19, Daisy announced on Instagram that her sister had undergone “multiple surgeries including breast, facial and brain surgery, as well as two emergency surgeries.”

The star of “Below Deck Sailing Yacht” informed his fans a few days later. June 23 was Bonnie’s birthday.

Daisy wrote: “I arrived in Koh Samui last night to support her and help my parents as it has been quite an ordeal for her. I am sitting by her side on what would have been her 34th birthday. Given the severity of her injuries, it is a true miracle that she is still alive and we are all optimistic and confident that in time she will make a full recovery.”

“The only reason I’m sharing this information (with my (family’s) permission) is to promote a few things. For anyone who sees this and is going on vacation or traveling or anything, please don’t get on the moped and if you do, wear a helmet and be insured (no helmet, no insurance),” she continued. “My family has seen several people admitted over the weeks and not all of them have been as lucky as Bonnie.”

Daisy then expressed her appreciation to Bonnie’s friend who informed the family about her accident.

“Without her, everything would have been different. She reacted so quickly and was a great support to my family,” she wrote. “So always look out for your friends.”

The chief steward of the sailing yacht Below Deck also praised the facility that Bonnie looks after.

“Bonnie is in a fantastic hospital and the staff has been incredible,” she said. “The road to recovery is long but we have received so much support. We hope that by sharing this story we can save a life or spare another person or family from what they are going through. We can’t believe how close we came to losing her. DO NOT GET ON THE (BIKE) and if you do, WEAR A HELMET and get TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE. We love you Bonnie, happy birthday.”

Bonnie is “still waiting to find out what happened”

Finally, the sisters shared an Instagram Q&A to update their fans. Daisy made it to her sister’s bedside and they streamed from Bonnie’s hospital room in Thailand.
