Driver killed in car crash in San Jose

(KRON) — According to the San Jose Police Department, a driver was killed in a car crash on Monday. SJPD units are deployed in the area of ​​Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bailey Avenue.

According to SJPD, a caller reported seeing an overturned vehicle on the side of the road. Paramedics were called to the scene, but the driver, a man, was pronounced dead.

Santa Teresa Boulevard is closed from Bailey Avenue to Laguna Avenue. Police advise people to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

The incident was the 21st traffic fatality in San Jose in 2024.
